The Inn - James Patterson

Updated: May 15, 2021

I cannot write an entire review on this book because I am only about a 1/4 of the way through the book. James Patterson is my all time favorite author and normally I fly through the books that I read that were published by him. However, this book is not his normal style and it's taken a lot for me to get through what I have read already. It's not a bad read, it's just a slow read. I am definitely going to push through and try to finish the book this week, but I am not so sure that I am going to be able to! Wish me luck guys because I want to give this book a good and honest review because the book deserves at least that much!

I am going to try my hardest not to start another book until this one is finished because I have quite a few TBR on my bookshelf!

Oh! And Happy Hump Day readers

UPDATE.....***SPOILER ALERT***

I absolutely love it! I am literally eating my words right now! Yes, it did get off to a slow start but when you get that past that portion it explodes.

This is definitely not the same James Patterson books that you are used to. I love his writing. He is exceptional! Ok I am going give a little summary about this weeks reading.

The Inn - James Patterson

As I stated up above I was having really hard time getting through the book. OMG once you get past that hump it just sucks you in. I finished the book in one sitting. So here's a synopsis that won't give away the entire book.....but there might be spoiler or two so you read at your own risk!

Boston police officer gets fired and moves to a tiny area with his wife. They actually bought a bed n breakfast. Wife dies shortly after they move in. The husband has no idea how to fix up the house that was wife's stuff. Their bed and breakfast have permanent tenants there....each having their own personality, but in a crisis all of the guests come together and what you will read will blow you away. This is a drug dealer VS a fired Boston cop. It really is just an incredible read. This is a police type genre if you will. So as you get further into this book there are twists and turns like you wouldn't believe.
